Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home follows he and Sharon's long-awaited move back to the UK and fulfilling his dream of making it back onto the stage once again...
For their first game of the season – home at Villa Park to Newcastle – Aston Villa unveiled an Ozzy Osbourne tribute mural, while the players walked out to a live rendition of Crazy Train from Back To The Beginning.
Aston Villa Football Club paid tribute to Ozzy Osbourne at their first Premier League game of the season over the weekend.
The late Black Sabbath frontman’s hometown team unveiled a new ‘OZZY FOREVER’ mural on the wall of the Holte Pub in honour of the local legend, and also played the live rendition of Crazy Train from last month’s Back To The Beginning show as the players walked out to face Newcastle (usually at Villa Park they come out to the studio version).
In a statement on their website, Aston Villa explained that Ozzy “always held a special connection to the club and the community he came from”, and that, “Aston Villa is proud to remember Ozzy Osbourne, a music legend, and his connection to our club.”

Of course, Back To The Beginning was held at Villa Park only a couple of weeks before The Prince Of Darkness’ passing. When the show was first announced, Ozzy said that it was his “time to go Back To The Beginning. Time for me to give back to the place where I was born. How blessed am I to do it with the help of people whom I love. Birmingham is the true home of metal. Birmingham forever.”
