Josh Franceschi jokes that “we should break up more often” after You Me At Six’s 2025 farewell tour pretty much sells out…
Much to the surprise of absolutely nobody (well, apart from maybe the band it would seem), You Me At Six have basically sold out their entire UK and Ireland farewell tour in one morning.
Taking to Instagram to share his excitement about it all, frontman Josh Franceschi says that he is “completely blown away” by the response. “Over 50,000 tickets sold this morning. What a trip,” he says, also joking that, “We should break up more often.
“No, seriously,” he continues. “What an honour to have been your band. Birmingham and Dublin (Max’s birthday) only shows with tickets left. Go buy them today as they will be sold out too.”
Intriguingly, Josh also adds: “If us and our team can work out some more dates, where would you want us?”
So go and let him know now!
“We want to celebrate this with as many of our fans as possible,” Josh previously said of this whole tour. “We’ve put in the work for two decades and I want this band to be remembered for being one of the good ones that came in, did their fucking thing, and fucked off before they got kicked out.
“The final date at Wembley is 20 years to the day of our first band practice! That’s going to be really special. We have been very lucky and I’m looking to forward to this final year. I’m just really having an amazing time.”
