Wolfgang Van Halen unleashes new Mammoth single, The End

Wolfgang Van Halen has unleashed a new single with his project Mammoth (seemingly no longer going by the original band name Mammoth WVH).

The musician has dropped newbie The End, which he reveals actually started to come together before he even formed this group.

“I’ve had the tapping idea on the intro for The End since before Mammoth,” Wolfgang says. “I was able to fit it into this world. It’s still over-the-top and shreddy, but it’s also melodic and controlled.

“Overall, I was doing some different things on the record, and I knew this was going to be a big step. Once we finished The End, it felt really special to me.”

There’s a star-studded accompanying video – featuring Danny Trejo, Slash, Myles Kennedy, Valerie Bertinelli and the Mammoth live band – premiering at 3pm BST today (May 1), but in the meantime stream The End below:
