The next single in Two Year Break’s dystopian chapter is here.

Entitled Listen Up, the track follows July banger Don’t Bring Me Down, and the band describe it as being “angrier, heavier and builds to a crazy breakdown that wouldn’t be out of place in a cinematic fight scene”.

“Lyrically Listen Up is a rallying call,” they say. “As with previous singles its lyrical meaning is up for interpretation, but if Don’t Bring Me Down was about the frustration of toxicity, Listen Up is the wake-up call to do something about it.

“When you reach the realisation of toxicity in a relationship, friendship or even leadership, it can be a challenge to build up the courage to do something about it. This song is telling you to do it. Stand up for yourself, make yourself heard, and rally the people around you to help.”
