See Sum 41’s Deryck Whibley and Simple Plan’s Pierre Bouvier join The Offspring onstage in New York to perform the punk legends’ classic single.
For the first time on their Let The Bad Times Roll summer tour, The Offspring brought out tourmates Deryck Whibley and Pierre Bouvier to perform one of their classic singles.
The Sum 41 and Simple Plan frontmen joined Dexter Holland, Noodles and co. to help out on 1998’s Americana sing-along Why Don’t You Get A Job? at the Wantagh, New York date of the tour earlier this month, with pro-shot footage of the awesome pop-punk coming-together just hitting YouTube.
Elsewhere, The Offspring’s 18-song setlist on the night opened with Come Out And Play, before they quickly tore through eternal bangers All I Want and Want You Bad. They also threw in a medley of Iron Man, The Trooper, Sweet Child O’ Mine and In The Hall Of The Mountain King and a cover of The Ramones’ Blitzkrieg Bop, before finishing up with Pretty Fly (For A White Guy) and The Kids Aren’t Alright, and an encore of You’re Gonna Go Far, Kid and Self Esteem. Mega!
