Last night's BRIT Awards 2022 at London's The O2 were opened and closed in spectacular and somewhat rock and metal-esque fashion: after Bring Me The Horizon kicked off proceedings with Ed Sheeran, rapper Dave then ended the show with an incredibly badass flamethrower guitar.
After winning the award for Best Hip Hop / Grime / Rap Act – as well as being nominated for MasterCard Album Of The Year (We’re All Alone In This Together), Artist Of The Year and Song Of The Year (Clash) – Dave then delivered a jaw-dropping performance of In The Fire, with guest appearances from Giggs, Ghetts, Meekz and Fredo, and an amazing gospel choir.
After their cameos, Dave took centre stage with a flamethrower guitar to perform an epic and fiery solo, giving Rammstein a real run for their money…
“Listen, man. I’m just a guy that really, really, really loves music," he said in his acceptance speech. "To be able to be here to share a stage with some of the most talented musicians in the world, in the country, some of the best rappers in my field. It’s the best I can do, man.”
