Thank you, sweet Mother Internet.

Watch Linkin Park's Numb Played On A Piano With A Cat On It

There are literally millions of cover versions on YouTube. Acoustic covers, piano covers, 8-bit covers -- you name it, there's a cover of a famous song done in that style. In fact, the only type of video that might outrank cover versions is cat videos. So a cover with a cat? Seemingly for no other reason than to do a cover with a cat? There's something beautiful about that, like listening to the heartbeat of the Internet itself. Which is why this video of a piano cover of Linkin Park’s Numb, with a cat sitting on top of the keyboard, is everything.

The adorably fluffy cat in question, named Haburu, has a sleepy start to the video, lounging across the piano and trying to get a bit of a nap in while their human, Minh, plays Numb. This incredibly chill feline spends the middle of the video dramatically staring off into the distance before finally getting some sleep, only to wake up right at the end of the song. For the record, Minh’s cover of Numb is beautiful and impressive, but it’s hard not to get distracted by the real star of the video, Haburu, who truly belongs in the Internet cat hall of fame.

Watch Numb performed with a cat on the piano and stare into the soul of the universe:

Truly amazing.

Arguably the best comment on the video comes from YouTube user Cls, who wrote, “LOL, the cat's become so Numb, he can barely move.” We see what you did there.

Haburu, who has over 300,000 YouTube subscribers, has sat in on -- well, more like napped during -- loads of covers, including a cover of Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody, called Bohemeow Rhapsody where it seems like Haburu gets more rest:

To be fair, this isn’t the first animal cover of Linkin Park’s classic Numb. Here a hilarious video with a lot of different animals including a dog, a goat and a donkey, 'singing' the track:

Whether or not Haburu's version of Numb will reach 1 billion views like Linkin Park's video for the song did remains to be seen. In the meantime, we hope Haburu gets to take a nap now.
