Wednesday star Jenna Ortega gives one cosplayer the ultimate surprise – and then a tour around the Netflix set!
Netflix’s Wednesday series has been the gift that keeps on giving since its release, with Jenna Ortega’s take on the Addams Family icon already a massive hit. Unsurprisingly, she’s proving to be a total style icon too, with many fans cosplaying in her signature gothy style.
One such fan, make-up artist and content creator Noor Dabash, was recently surprised by Jenna herself, after being asked by Netflix to give them a specialised Wednesday look.
Using Jenna’s character as the main inspiration, and explaining how she’s the “top-tier casting choice” and “the perfect Wednesday Addams”, Noor goes through the process of transforming into Wednesday, before having a wander around set.
It’s there, of course, where Jenna comes in, perfectly surprising her cosplaying counterpart and then giving Noor a personal tour of all things Wednesday. So wholesome.

In a new interview with Elle, original Wednesday actor Christina Ricci (who played the character in Tim Burton’s original 1991 and 1993 movies) enthused of Jenna’s version: “I loved being Wednesday. I’m very proud of that role. I also think Jenna Ortega is amazing. She is so brave, so cool, and really doing the part justice. Wednesday is her part now… [and] those two things can be true at the same time!”
