TX2 is keeping his string of 2025 singles coming with raging new effort The Rain.

The musician – real name Evan Thomas – admits that this one is “probably the pettiest song I’ve ever written. I was furious when I made it… someone betrayed me and my band, and this was my way of getting it out. Listening back, it’s definitely a ‘yikes’ moment, but anyone who’s ever had their back stabbed will feel this one.”

The Rain arrives ahead of TX2 supporting Ice Nine Kills in UK arenas next month. Then, in 2026 he’ll return to these shores as part of the stacked Download Festival line-up – which was unveiled on Monday night, and features Limp Bizkit, Guns N’ Roses, Linkin Park, Bad Omens, Cypress Hill, Trivium, Halestorm, Pendulum, Electric Callboy, BABYMETAL, Mastodon, Architects, Feeder, The All-American Rejects and loads more.
