twenty one pilots to perform The Line live for the first time at The Game Awards 2024

twenty one pilots are set to perform their new song The Line at next month’s Game Awards 2024.

The track was released last Friday on the soundtrack to season 2 of Netflix’s massive Arcane, and we’re not going to have to wait too long to hear it live for the first time – with the awards taking place on December 12 at the Peacock Theater. They’ve also just released the official accompanying music video, so check that out below in the meantime.

“As a fan, when invited to be a part of Arcane, I was inspired to contribute in some way,” says frontman Tyler Joseph. “So many aspects of this story connect with me on a creative level, and when the scene was shared, I immediately knew the lyrical concept and direction I wanted to take when writing The Line. Josh [Dun, drums] and I are thrilled to present this song onstage for the first time during the 2024 Game Awards.”

Elsewhere, joining twenty one pilots on the line-up for The Game Awards 2024 are d4vd and Royal & The Serpent. According to a press release you’ll be able to watch this special Arcane season 2 musical event across “more than 30 digital video platforms including Twitch, YouTube, Steam, X (formerly known as Twitter), Facebook, TikTok Live, and many more”.
