“Hello Clancy, hello Blurryface, let’s finish this”: twenty one pilots announce new album, Breach
twenty one pilots will release their eighth studio album Breach this September, with new music coming next month!
It’s June, which means we’ll get to hear a brand-new twenty one pilots single this month. But the duo have already started revealing mysterious snippets of The Contract…
With The Clancy World Tour coming to a triumphant end last month, twenty one pilots are showing no signs of slowing down: in fact, they quickly went on to surprise-announce their eighth album Breach (which is due out in September).
The duo – Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun – also confirmed that the record’s lead single The Contract would be arriving on June 12, and with that release date just over a week away now, they’ve unveiled a mysterious snippet on social media (yesterday, June 3, they specifically posted that there was nine days to go – and fans are noting that there must be a reason they’ve focused on that particular number).
On top of that, the Blurryface account has been back in action lately, following that album’s 10th anniversary. Yet more video snippets have been uploaded and then deleted, presumably also related to The Contract… so basically, twenty one pilots are properly, properly hyping this release. And we’ll stress it again: when they post anything, there’s always a deeper meaning…
