Skunk Anansie, CLT DRP, The Molotovs and more join The Great Escape 2025
Over 170 new names have been added to the annual Great Escape in Brighton – including a very special, intimate Skunk Anansie set.
Punk sibling duo Mathew and Issey Cartlidge will drop the debut Molotovs album early next year…
Following a hugely exciting 2025 so far in which they’ve really made their name as a rising band to watch, The Molotovs have just announced their debut album, Wasted On Youth.
The teenage pair – Mathew and Issey Cartlidge – will unleash their first record on January 30, 2026 (yes, we’re already looking at albums for next year – where does the time go?!) via Marshall, with new single Today’s Gonna Be Our Day out now to celebrate the news.
“It’s an anti-complacency song,” says Mathew of the track. “A call to arms for my generation to keep the faith and reject apathy, recognising that it’s our time and our turn to make it better. If anything, it’s about the power of youth.”
