Get your tissues at the ready, because Sum 41 have just announced their final-ever headline tour across the pond.

The Canadian pop-punk heroes will be saying farewell to fans across the globe on their Tour Of The Setting Sum, which will see them joined by The Interrupters as support in North America (tickets for all those dates go on sale at 10am local time this Friday, January 19).

Armed with upcoming double-album Heaven :x: Hell, Sum 41 will kick things off in Jakarta, Indonesia on March 1, and will eventually say their final goodbye at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario on January 30, 2025.

Of course, they’ll be back in the UK at Download Festival in June, which is billed as their last festival appearance on these shores. So we’ve got our fingers crossed for some more UK and European headline dates to be announced at some point in the near future, too.

Speaking to Kerrang! recently about bringing the band to an end, frontman Deryck Whibley explained that, “It’s bittersweet, for sure. There is a sadness. It wasn’t a quick overnight decision; it’s something that had been coming for a while in my mind. So, I’m not having any regrets or anything, but it will be somewhat sad – especially since the band gets along. We’re all good friends and we’ll continue to hang out and be friends after the band. Which is not the norm usually when bands break up!”
