Steel Panther and TC Electronics came under fire when a petition was launched to have the Pussy Melter TonePrints by Satchel (a guitar effect pedal) removed from sale, due to it being “extremely vulgar and unnecessary".

“Wanna make a physical impact on your audiences, with an epic delay tone? Then Satchel’s got you covered!" read TC Electronics' advert for the product. "When we met up with Steel Panther’s oh-so-humble guitarist, he had only one condition: that the tone be as wet as the ladies on the front row!”

The petition was spread by Canadian rockers Braids, who commented: “What f***ing year is this??? As a female guitarist and just a female in general this makes me super disappointed!”

Anyway, TC Electronics have since pulled the product from their website, but Steel Panther being Steel Panther were not bothered in the slightest.

Guitarist Satchel Tweeted:

"I’m working overtime with TC Electronics to re-release the “pussy melter” tone print under the less offensive, more politically correct name of the “Butthole Burner”. Don’t worry- it will still melt your pussy, ladies."
