Live review: Don Broco, London OVO Arena Wembley
The Barons of Bedford, Don Broco, prove yet again that they were always made for the big leagues at Wembley wonder gig.
State Champs have just released an absolutely massive new track, which is about “investing yourself in someone while also being naive to the fact that you never had anything in common to begin with”.
As they look ahead to a busy rest of 2025, State Champs have just unleashed a brand-new single, Common Sense.
The massive track is their first since last year’s self-titled album, and arrives before the pop-punks – vocalist Derek DiScanio, guitarist Tyler Szalkowski, bassist Ryan Scott Graham and drummer Evan Ambrosio – join A Day To Remember and Yellowcard on the road throughout North America. After that, they’ll be back in the UK at the end of the year to support Don Broco.
Speaking about Common Sense, State Champs say that the song “brings out a slightly darker and heavier side to us while keeping the Champs integrity strong. Lyrically, it’s about completely investing yourself in someone while also being naive to the fact that you never had anything in common to begin with.”
