The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame have unveiled the nominees for this year’s big induction in the autumn.

The final shortlist will be unveiled in late April ahead of the ceremony later in 2024, but the 15 names competing include Ozzy Osbourne and Jane’s Addiction, along with Mary J. Blige, Mariah Carey, Cher, Dave Matthews Band, Eric B. & Rakim, Foreigner, Peter Frampton, Kool & The Gang, Lenny Kravitz, Oasis, Sinéad O’Connor, Sade and A Tribe Called Quest.

“This remarkable list of Nominees reflects the diverse artists and music that the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame honors and celebrates,” says John Sykes, Chairman of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation. “Continuing in the true spirit of Rock & Roll, these artists have created their own sounds that have impacted generations and influenced countless others that have followed in their footsteps.”

Sharing his news, The Prince Of Darkness took to social media to happily say: “I’m deeply honored to receive this news from the Rock Hall. To be one of the few musicians who’s being considered for a second entry, now as a solo artist, is something I could never have imagined. After 44 years as a solo artist the fact that I can continue to record music and receive this recognition is something I am incredibly proud of.”

The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame 2024 takes place in Cleveland, and will be streamed live on Disney+. Stay tuned for more details when they’re announced, and cast your votes here.
