Eastbourne pop-punks ROAM are hitting the road in 2020 for some very small and sweaty gigs.

ROAM Have Announced An Intimate 2020 Tour

As ROAM have looked to broaden their horizons and gotten more experimental with most recent album Smile Wide, the Eastbourne pop-punks have gone a similarly surprising route with the announcement of a new tour.

The band have revealed that they'll be scaling things back on their forthcoming January and February run, which will stop at some tiny venues in Bournemouth, Exeter, Newport, Northampton, Norwich, Sheffield, Liverpool, Blackpool, Middlesbrough, Edinburgh, York, Leicester, Margate and Brighton.

“It’s time to play some sweaty small shows,” says vocalist Alex Costello. “We are stoked to be playing some tiny rooms. These are going to be hectic! We’ll be playing some bangers we haven't played before and maybe some we haven't played for a while. Don't miss out on this!”

Of the band's most recent studio effort, guitarist and vocalist Alex Adam explains:

“The album as a whole is about feeling overlooked and out of control. It’s about feeling like a puppet in someone else’s game, and they’re making decisions you don’t agree with, it’s about taking that control back and not letting people walk all over you anymore.

On a larger scale, as citizens of the earth, we’re in a place where we’re being lead by people who don’t have a fucking clue, and who are fucking up huge decisions that affect everyone, on a daily basis. We need to not just take it but stand up for what we believe in.

Be unapologetically you.”
