Indie rock powerhouse Pile have released a heavy rendition of a classic track as a precursor to their international tour.

Last we checked in with indie rockers Pile, they were celebrating the release of Green And Gray, their most ambitious album to date, and trolling right-wing politician Stephen Miller in their music videos. Now, the band have announced that they'll spend the fall touring both Europe and the U.S., and have released a heavier rendition of one of Green And Gray's tracks to celebrate the news.

The track in question is My Employer, which on Green And Gray is a despondent, echoing rock song with its head firmly in the storm clouds. The new version, however, is full of crashing guitars, feedback, and throat-straining vocals. Think of the difference between going to work on a rainy Tuesday morning while feeling trapped by your job, and then throwing your chair through the window before marching out that afternoon.
