Watch the trailer for Back To The Beginning: Ozzy’s Final Bow
Ahead of next month’s Back To The Beginning farewell epic, Mercury Studios have unveiled a trailer for their big livestream of the event…
Ozzy Osbourne: No Escape From Now is described by his wife Sharon as an “honest account” of The Prince Of Darkness’ life and difficulties since his fall in 2019.
Production team Echo Velvet have announced an official Ozzy Osbourne feature-length documentary.
In partnership with The Osbournes and MTV, No Escape From Now is in production right now, and is due to arrive on Paramount+ later this year. It will document everything that’s happened since The Prince Of Darkness took a fall at home in 2019 (which aggravated past injuries and required multiple surgeries), before he announced his Parkinson’s diagnosis the following year.
“The last six years have been full of some of the worst times I’ve been through,” says Ozzy in a statement. “There’s been times when I thought my number was up. But making music and making two albums [2020’s Ordinary Man and 2022 follow-up Patient Number 9] saved me. I’d have gone nuts without music.”
“This film is an honest account of what has happened to Ozzy during the last few years,” explains his wife and manager Sharon. “It shows how hard things have been for him and the courage he has shown while dealing with a number of serious health issues, including Parkinson’s. It’s about the reality of his life now.
“We have worked with a production team we trust and have allowed them the freedom to tell the story openly. We hope that story will inspire people that are facing similar issues to Ozzy.”
Ozzy Osbourne: No Escape From Now will presumably arrive after his huge final show with Black Sabbath, Back To The Beginning, which takes place at Villa Park in Birmingham on July 5.
