Ozzy absolutely loves T-Pain’s 2023 cover of Black Sabbath’s War Pigs
High praise, indeed! Ozzy Osbourne says that T-Pain performed “the best cover of War Pigs ever” on his 2023 covers album.

We were thoroughly impressed with T-Pain’s surprise rendition of War Pigs when it was released on his covers album last year, and now The Prince Of Darkness himself has finally gotten around to checking it out, too… and he clearly very much approves.
In a rare moment of ‘something nice happening on social media’, Ozzy took to Twitter/X to repost a live performance from December, in which the rapper and his band performed at The Sun Rose. He wrote that, “This is the best cover of War Pigs ever,” and asked, “Why didn’t you guys call me?”
T-Pain then had a very heartwarming response for the Sabbath legend: “You’re always invited. Top of the list, every time!! Thank you so much. Means a lot coming from the greatness himself.” Hell yes!
Of his decision to release a covers album – which is entitled On Top Of The Covers – T-Pain explained in a statement, “Each one of these songs means something to me and helped me fall in love with music at different points in my life.”
