New Hampshire post-hardcore band Our Last Night – who frequently set the internet ablaze with their covers – have heavied up one of the biggest songs of the year, good 4 u by Olivia Rodrigo.

The smash 2021 single – which is reminiscent of Paramore's 2007 Riot! banger Misery Business – has sort of already crossed over into the rock world with its emo and pop-punk feel, but OLN have given it that added oomph now with breakdowns, screamed vocals and more emphasis on the drums and guitars.

Discussing the mainstream success and potential crossover appeal of good 4 u, Public City's Hayley Codd told Kerrang! last month: "good 4 u potentially opens a door to people that have only have ever been exposed to out-and-out pop music, and I’m all for that. And it’s nice to be able to say [to radio stations], 'If you’re playing that track and it’s reacting well with your audience, why wouldn’t you play Wargasm? They’re slightly heavier but they’ve still got a big pop chorus…’”

Hayley also added of the single perhaps being a 'gateway drug' for younger music fans, "How people discover music doesn’t really matter. If people listen to good 4 u and then delve into Good Charlotte or Sum 41 or blink-182’s back catalogue, that can only be a good thing… Everyone’s got to start somewhere.”

The band also tackled Olivia's equally huge debut single drivers license earlier this year, too:
