To celebrate a brilliant year that took in everything from their biggest UK headline tour ever to surprise-releasing NeX GEn, Oli Sykes is back on the cover of Kerrang! this winter!

In an exclusive new interview – which is in UK shops and available online – the Bring Me The Horizon man looks back at how 2024 was for him and the band, as well as what might be coming in the future.

And, following on from the second POST HUMAN instalment’s months-long delay, he stresses that these days he’s keeping his plans much more chill – but at the same time he would definitely “like to get new music out”.

“We wrote so much for NeX GEn, there’s so many cool songs that are kicking about, and I think the world would love to hear them,” Oli tells us. “I would love to get out maybe a ‘director’s cut’ version of the record or something. But I’m trying to put less pressure on myself, and not promise anything!

“After the last record it felt like people were gonna start hunting me down and taking me for ransom (laughs). But I’m sure there’ll be new music and concerts and all that next year.”
