Nova Twins performed Monsters on The Jonathan Ross Show on Saturday night (March 8).

The duo joined fellow guests Warwick Davis, Jodie Whittaker, Ashley Walters and Daisy May Cooper on the latest episode of the ITV talk show, and unleashed their January banger in front of the studio audience in London.

We now know that the track is taken from Nova Twins’ forthcoming third album Parasites & Butterflies, which is due out on August 29 via Marshall Records.

When Monsters was released at the start of the year, the band explained that the song was about “awakening to and understanding your mental health. Growing up, we often look outward, absorbing what life throws at us. Over time, the good and bad experiences start to settle. Before learning to navigate these feelings, you may face self-loathing, anxiety and a fear of who you've become. Confronting these emotions, breathing through them, and opening up to someone can help.

“Many people struggle with mental health, and this song aims to show vulnerability and let our audience know they’re not alone.”
