nothing, nowhere. has unleashed a viral emo cover of Chappell Roan’s HOT TO GO!.
The musician – real name Joe Mulherin – recently launched a new social media series entitled ‘Will it emo?’, and has tackled the 2023 pop banger, taken from Chappell Roan’s debut album The Rise And Fall Of A Midwest Princess.
As is the nothing, nowhere. way, Joe does the whole thing himself, from the vocals to the lead and rhythm guitar parts, bass and drums. Already racking up over one million views on TikTok, the cover starts off much softer, before nothing, nowhere. ramps up the heaviness significantly with guttural vocals. And, judging by the comments, most people think the answer to ‘Will it emo?’ on this occasion is, ‘Absolutely, yes.’
