Normandie have ‘prescribed’ their next single, Butterflies

Normandie have just ‘prescribed’ their next single for fans, Butterflies.

Ahead of the release of new album Dopamine on February 9, 2024 via Easy Life, the trio have been releasing monthly singles as ‘prescriptions’ from their self-coined Dopamine Clinic, based on the subject matter they’re tackling this time around: “The whole album is about the chase for different highs and natural chemicals: oxytocin, serotonin, dopamine, endorphins, adrenaline…” explains frontman Philip Strand. “What if dopamine had to be clinically provided because we’ve burned through our receptors?”

So next up, then, is Butterflies – which Philips explains is “about an intervention”. “Have you ever started a war with the butterflies in your stomach?” he asks. “Butterflies is about an intervention, a hundred failed attempts to kill the growing affection for someone that your head tells you to stay away from.”
