Stranger Things 4 will be arriving at some point in 2022 – and Netflix have just started to tease the new season.
With plenty of online theories that we'll finally be getting Stranger Things 4 in the next couple of months, Netflix are teasing the show via a mysterious, upside-down (naturally!) new billboard.
If you do venture into the famous Upside Down (or just tilt your head a certain way), you'll be able to see that the billboard reads: EVERY ENDING HAS A BEGINNING. And while that seems ominous, and potentially implies that this new instalment will be Stranger Things' last, Ross Duffer told The Hollywood Reporter in 2020 that, "Season four won’t be the end. We know what the end is, and we know when it is. [The pandemic] has given us time to look ahead, figure out what is best for the show. Starting to fill that out gave us a better idea of how long we need to tell that story."
Instead, it hopefully means Stranger Things 4 is just around the corner…
Last summer, executive producer Shawn Levy told The Hollywood Reporter that Stranger Things 4 was the "most ambitious, cinematic, sprawling and epic season that we've ever done".
"By not just a little – by a lot," he said. "So the complexity of season four, even before we had the obstacles, hurdles and challenges of a pandemic, is taking a lot of time because it is super worth the wait."
