Bristol post-pop-punks My First Time have unleashed their first new single of the year – the aptly-titled Brand New.
Following November’s Man Of Ill Repute, the quartet’s latest rager is, according to vocalist/guitarist Isaac, about asking yourself the very specific question, “What if I changed everything about me and moved to a small town in America and started my own logistics business, owned a Harley-Davidson and smoked only reds?”
He details further: “Brand New is the death of childhood self-assurance and birth of adulthood anxiety. It is the desire to change everything because it has become just that bit too familiar. An imaginary timeline, where everything is different, and the Brand New version of yourself reigns supreme.”
