Muse have been drafted in to headline Mad Cool festival this July, replacing previously-announced bill-toppers Kings Of Leon.

Kings Of Leon were scheduled to close the Thursday night of the Madrid weekender, but have been forced to cancel all of their upcoming UK and Europe shows due to frontman Caleb Followill needing emergency surgery, after breaking a bone in his heel.

Having last played Mad Cool in 2022, Muse will return to the sun-drenched megafest to play alongside the likes of Weezer, Iggy Pop and Refused on the opening night, with Nine Inch Nails, Thirty Seconds To Mars, PVRIS and more throughout the rest of the weekend.

Mad Cool 2025 takes place July 10 – 12 at Iberdrola Music.
