Watch the video for Sensitive, the second single from MOTHICA’s upcoming album Nocturnal.
Following the release of Casualty back in January, MOTHICA has today (March 11) shared another new single and video, Sensitive.
The second release from upcoming album Nocturnal, the alt.pop musician explains of the single: “I wanted to make the most upbeat and aggressive song about being an introvert. Because that’s how it feels to me when I have trouble expressing my emotions, sometimes it comes out as anger and frustration of being misunderstood. So we combined a metal guitar with a driving dance bass to illustrate this emotion just in time for Pisces season.”
Of the video, she adds, “I was inspired to do prosthetic make-up like a blowfish, you know, who puffs up when they feel threatened. That's how I feel most of the time… hope you enjoy!!”

And check out the lyrics below:
I don’t go out
I stay in bed
Overthinking in my head
It’s too loud
I can’t pretend
I’m not breaking down again
I’m anxious, so cautious
I’m easily nauseous
I wish I could care less
Just care too much
Push me, pull me
Break me, can’t let go
My hands around your throat
Won’t leave me alone
Now I got my guard up
Can’t let go
Don’t mean to break the skin
I’m just sensitive
Tattoos all over me
My fears don’t behave logically
I’m scared of heights, strangers at night
And socially I’m terrified
Anxious, so cautious
I hate my subconscious
Wish I could care less
But I care too much
Push me, pull me
Break me, can’t let go
My hands around your throat
Won’t leave me alone
Now I got my guard up
Can’t let go
Don’t mean to break the skin
I’m just sensitive
I’m just sensitive
A vulnerable bitch
Deadly but delicate
I’m just sensitive
I’m just sensitive
A vulnerable bitch
Deadly but delicate
I’m just sensitive
Push me, pull me
Break me, can’t let go
My hands around your throat
Won’t leave me alone
Now I got my guard up
Can’t let go
Don’t mean to break the skin
I’m just sensitive
