Mother Vulture have unveiled a brand-new single and video, Phoenix.

The track is taken from the band’s forthcoming album Cartoon Violence, which is the follow-up to their great 2022 debut Mother Knows Best and is due out on January 15, 2026. “This latest tune holds a really special place in all of our hearts,” enthuses guitarist Brodie. “Phoenix is really special to all of us, I think the lyrics kind of speak for themselves on this one. We’ve worked really hard to get where we are, and this tune feels like a cathartic release.”

In even cooler news, the band have teamed up with Gretsch for the single’s accompanying music video, which shows off the new line of Jet guitars. “As a guitarist, and a fanatic enthusiast of Gretsch, I was a little excited to say the least when they asked us to feature in the launch campaign for their new line of Jets,” says Brodie. “Featuring not just our track, but us just going nuts on camera, doing what we do, well that was just really fucking cool and we can’t thank them enough.”
