Dublin punk Meryl Streek has announced a brand-new album, Songs For The Deceased.

Due out on October 25 via Venn Records, the musician describes his upcoming LP as a “collection of stories about betrayal, murder, injustice and corruption”.

He adds that, “It’s not just happening in Ireland, it’s happening around the world and we’re supposed to just take it lying down?”

On a more personal level Meryl Streek has also unveiled new single Paddy, which according to a press release is a tribute to his uncle, who was ‘a unique individual who chose to live life by his own terms’.
