Megadeth have shared the first single, Tipping Point, from their forthcoming final album.

The thrash titans will be releasing their last-ever studio record – simply entitled Megadeth – at some point in 2026, and today (October 3) they’re giving fans a taste of what’s to come with Tipping Point.

Says Dave Mustaine: “We all have different ‘tipping points’ and they may vary from day to day. I think we’re all being pushed to the edge right now, and it’s easy to lean into that feeling. But it’s important not to let things get you down.”

The band – completed by guitarist Teemu Mäntysaari, bassist James LoMenzo and drummer Dirk Verbeuren – will reveal more news about their final record in the coming weeks.
