The 2022 BRIT nominees have been announced – with Måneskin up for International Group and International Song.
The full nominees for next year's BRIT Awards have been unveiled, with Måneskin among the names for International Group and International Song.
The Italian superstars will go up against ABBA, BTS, Silk Sonic and War On Drugs in the Best International Group category, while their banger I Wanna Be Your Slave will face up against the likes of Billie Eilish, Lil Nas X, Olivia Rodrigo and more.
“We are overjoyed with the news that we have received our first BRIT nominations today,” they say. “It has been such a phenomenal year for us, but one that we’ve been working toward from the moment we started playing together on the streets of Rome as teenagers. We want to say ‘Grazie Mille’ to our creative peers in the BRITs Voting Academy. And we gratefully thank and share this moment with our families and the people of Italy that have supported us from the start, and the legion of new fans that we have connected with across the world.”

The genre categories (like Best Rock / Alternative) will decided by a public vote via TikTok, which will open on January 21.
The BRITs will take play at London's O2 on February 8, 2022.
