Fresh from the release of Taylor Momsen’s Pretty Reckless Christmas EP, the singer channelled her inner Cindy Lou at this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Taylor Momsen appeared in New York yesterday, November 27, to perform at the 2025 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Appearing alongside the likes of Cynthia Erivo and Busta Rhymes for the huge celebration, The Pretty Reckless star threw things back to her iconic appearance as Cindy Lou as she performed their recent rock cover of Where Are You Christmas?, with the Grinch watching on and cheering his old co-star. Awww!
“Sometimes you steal Christmas, sometimes you steal the show,” posted Taylor on Instagram afterwards, while Macy’s wrote: “We found Christmas and our #MacysParade spirit with this performance! Thanks for joining us, Taylor!”
Last month, Taylor said that, “Revisiting Where Are You Christmas? 25 years later feels like coming home to a part of myself I hadn’t seen in a long time. I was just a child when I first sang it, and I never could’ve imagined the way the song, and the film, would stay with people for so long and unknowingly shape my career path as an adult.
“Recording it now, with all the life I’ve lived in between, I hear it through a different lens… but the heart of it is the same. It’s about wonder, hope and holding on to the magic – something I think we all need more than ever.”
