Ahead of next month’s EP don’t dream too much, KNIFE BRIDE have unveiled new track sacrifice/surrender…
A couple of weeks on from the release of smother (make me suffer), KNIFE BRIDE have unveiled another new song from their upcoming EP don’t dream too much.
With the record primed as a “trilogy” of vocalist Mollie Buckley’s “gruesome dreams”, this new tune from the quintet – which goes by the name sacrifice/surrender – “represents the most paralysing part of sleep”.
“The point that's somewhere between reality and deep, immersive dreaming,” explains Mollie. “This is why you can hear a sequence of various voices stabbing and churning through the chorus, and why the verses are more focused on being a spectator of your own dreams rather than there being a clear narrative.”
KNIFE BRIDE’s full EP is due out on August 25.
