And there we were thinking we were already listening to the recently-finished Killswitch Engage album… but no, frontman Jesse Leach has simply just pranked fans with a little new reggae jam.

Though he jokingly posted the song – which is an ode to weed – on Instagram with the caption: "Exclusive Killswitch Engage leak! I repeat HOLY HELL new Killswitch, holy shit! Listen", it's in actual fact just a fun track produced by Killswitch's own Adam Dutkiewicz, and not a sign of things to come from their main band.

"No… none of it is serious calm down I’m not doing reggae," the vocalist added on the post. Well, we're not gonna complain if you do want to branch out, Jesse. Just saying…

Catch Killswitch Engage back in the UK this month and next supporting the mighty Parkway Drive.
