Now 10 years into their career, Michigan metalcore heroes I Prevail are bigger than ever, having toured the planet to thousands upon thousands of dedicated fans.
And this week all their hard work culminates with a whopping show at London’s iconic OVO Arena Wembley – which marks the end of their brilliant, long-awaited UK tour.
To celebrate this milestone, and before they return to our shores once more for Download Festival in June, co-vocalist Eric Vanlerberghe invited us backstage to see what life is like on the road with I Prevail.
The golden rule on tour is…
“Don’t shit in the tour bus bathroom.”
The one phrase you’re likely to hear on repeat on tour is…
“I am so tired…”
The first thing we do when we get to a venue is…
“Scouting the green room for rider stock.”
The one essential rider request is…
“Lots of lunch meat. Gotta get that protein in.”
Our dressing room music of choice is…
“Sandstorm by Darude.”
