There’s just a few days to go now until the release of their
second album NO HANDS, and ahead of its arrival, Joey Valence & Brae have
unleashed another banger.
This one – emphatically titled PACKAPUNCH – hears the duo
teaming up with Detroit rap titan Danny Brown, a collab which came about via a
simple but effective direct message…
“It was one of those shoot-your-shot moments,” explains Joey.
“And he was like, ‘Yeah, I actually really fuck with you guys.’”
Speaking about NO HANDS as a whole, meanwhile, Joey proudly shares that the
album is “driving home the point that we do this on our own, and that we're
confident about it. Like, ‘Look, ma, no hands.’ It also doubles for having no
hands working on this project other than us in terms of the creative. This
album is us doubling-down: we bet on ourselves, and it worked.”
