Bloodstock have added 12 killer bands to next year's festival line-up – including two of their Sophie Lancaster stage headliners.

Topping the Sophie stage bills on Friday and Saturday respectively are Sleep Token and Hatebreed, while New Orleans sludge mob EyeHateGod and punk kings Discharge will also be performing on that stage on the Friday.

Elsewhere, after having to pull out of this year's fest, the Ronnie James Dio main stage will host Jinjer, Lorna Shore, Lost Society and Misfits' Doyle. On top of that, Enforced, Party Cannon, Soen and Nekrogoblikon have all been announced.

These new additions join previously-announced headliners Mercyful Fate and Lamb Of God. "It’s been way too long since we’ve rocked the festivals of Merry Olde – what better way to announce our return than a headliner slot at Bloodstock?" says Randy Blythe. "Until then, pack your wellies and stay safe England!"
