Cavetown has dropped a video for his new standalone single Baby Spoon, coming hot on the heels of his signing to Futures Music Group.
Arriving one month ahead of his run supporting Pierce The Veil across the UK – including a huge show at OVO Arena Wembley – it's heartfelt, impassioned ode to his partner that also ruminates on his own vulnerability and journey of self-acceptance.
“Baby Spoon is a reminder to my partner that I’ll always be there to talk to her and make her feel better,” says Cavetown, aka Robin Skinner. “Growing up as a transmasc guy, I went through a phase of overdoing masculinity because I thought that’s what was expected of me. With her, I can be delicate, soft, I can be the baby spoon.”
