If you weren't already aware, Kerrang! Living Loud is in stores now! Celebrating more than four decades of the greatest music publication on the planet, we chart the history of rock, metal, punk and alternative music from our very first issue in 1981 all the way through to the present day, with exclusive interviews, photography and stories from those that were there.

Following our launch party in central London last week, last night we headed to Rough Trade East for a special Q&A event. Hosted by author Nick Ruskell, the night saw Nick in conversation with Simon Neil from Biffy Clyro, followed by a panel session with You Me At Six's Josh Franceschi, Employed To Serve's Justine Jones and Kerrang! Editor Luke Morton.

Sporting a rather fetching moustache and jacket, Simon reflected on his first encounters with Kerrang! (from Ministry magazine covers to Reef posters on his wall), how important K! was in the early days of Biffy, memories of the various Kerrang! Awards and the Kerrang! Weekender with The Bronx, and much much more.

In the second session, Josh, Justine and Luke shared their experiences with Kerrang! over the years and how K! continues to be pivotal in their lives and the alternative music scene.
