Last night, the French metal masters Gojira kicked off their tour of the UK and Ireland in powerful fashion. Storming into the National Stadium in Dublin for their first Irish gig since 2017, the progressive heavyweights more than made up for their extended time away with a setlist of 16 absolute monsters.
Leaning into 2021's Fortitude LP, opening on Born For One Thing and closing on Amazonia with a handful of new favourites in between, Gojira also debuted their brand-new track Our Time Is Now. But the Ondres rifflords also brought back some classics, belting out The Way Of All Flesh for the first time since 2009 and The Art Of Dying for the first time since 2016.
