HANABIE. announce new EP and drop opening track ICONIC

HANABIE. have announced a brand-new EP, HOT TOPIC.
Due out on January 28, the five-track release from the Harajuku-core quartet – vocalist Yukina, guitarist/vocalist Matsuri, bassist Hettsu and drummer Chika – opens up with newly-released single ICONIC, and also features the songs Spicy Queen, トキメキAbout you, GIRL’S TALK and はなびえんちゃん。のテーマ.
Speaking to Kerrang! in December 2024 about what they hope their unique, genre-spanning sound can achieve, Hettsu said that, “Maybe HANABIE. can open the doors for those people who don’t usually listen to this kind of music. But through HANABIE., they might like this kind of music even more, so we hope to be the channel for that as well.”
