Skindred are “paying it both back and forwards” with their UK tour support
From BLACKGOLD to Nonpoint, Dream State to Graphic Nature, Skindred have announced a packed supporting cast on their Smile (Again) UK tour this autumn.
Graphic Nature prove why they’re one of British heavy music’s most exciting young bands with new single Fractured – and it’s their “celebration of everyone that’s different”.
With a hometown headline date at London’s Underworld planned for next month, Graphic Nature are warming fans up in the best way: with a killer new single called Fractured.
The track follows their excellent debut album a mind waiting to die, which was released in early 2023, and sees them continue to show why they’re one of the most exciting young heavy bands in the country.
Frontman Harvey Freeman explains that, “Fractured is a song I’ve wanted to write lyrically for a long time. It’s about growing up being neurodivergent, without having a diagnosis or a clear knowledge of the symptoms that come with it.
“It’s written from a first-person perspective and is almost a parallel to our track leech. I used the phrase ‘fucked up just like me’ as a term of endearment – we’re all a little mental and this track is just a celebration of everyone that’s different. It’s not something we can change and nor should we. They say your wires are crossed, I say I’m wired the same.”
