Death metal faves Gatecreeper are back to “crush their enemies” with new single Caught In The Treads – their first new music since 2021’s An Unexpected Reality.
Gatecreeper have just unveiled an official studio version of their new single Caught In The Treads, having performed it live a number of times last year.
The band’s first new music since 2021’s An Unexpected Reality, the track hears frontman Chase H. Mason tackling the notion of “a supernaturally charged fleet of tanks that have been possessed by the souls of fallen soldiers. It’s about revenge and crushing your enemies.”
Of the accompanying video, meanwhile, Chase explains: “As soon as we finished recording, we started sneaking this song into our live set. We brought along our own VHS camera and had our friends film the shows where they could.”
