Hear folk-horror metallers Forlorn channel The Wicker Man on new track, Funeral Pyre
It explores fire as part of their forthcoming elemental debut album, Aether
Forlorn are back with another new single from their debut album Aether, and this one’s about how we “must do more to honour and care for our sacred wells, rivers, lakes and oceans”.
Following last month’s Wicker Man-inspired track Funeral Pyre, Forlorn have shared another new single.
It goes by the title Keeper Of The Well, and is again taken from the folk-horror crew’s forthcoming debut album Aether.
Detailing what it’s about, vocalist Megan Jenkins explains: “Water is a vital part of human existence. With the power to heal, renew and nourish, yet we curse ourselves and the creatures within by not respecting it. We must do more to honour and care for our sacred wells, rivers, lakes and oceans.”

Aether is due out on March 28 via Church Road.
