Album review: FEVER 333 – DARKER WHITE
Jason Aalon keeps fighting the good fight on FEVER 333’s overdue second album DARKER WHITE.
FEVER 333 have kicked off their next era with new single $WING – and they’re not holding back.
FEVER 333 are finally back in action!
It’s been a time of change for the Jason Aalon Butler-fronted project, and today (May 31) the vocalist has officially unveiled his new bandmates. Now a four-piece, FEVER 333 are comprised of Jason, drummer Thomas Pridgen, bassist April Kae and guitarist Brandon Davis, following the departure of Aric Improta and Stephen Harrison last October.
“This new era of FEVER 333 is beyond even what I could have imagined,” Jason enthuses. “The talent, the funk, the passion, and the respect for this project April, Thomas, and Brandon have already delivered have shown me, once again, that this project is something more than a band onstage.”
To mark the occasion, FEVER 333 have unveiled their first new single in three years, $WING, released via Jason’s own 333 Wreckords Crew and a new partnership with Century Media.
“In a system that exploits the aforementioned instruments of power (the people) for financial and political advancement, we must collectively understand and redirect the dynamic once we realise that we are not powerless against it,” explains Jason of the track. “$WING is a sonic reminder that you are the power that they seek and you are the resource they need.”
