Jane’s Addiction release new single True Love, just days after going on hiatus
Despite cancelling their tour and taking a break from the band on Monday, Jane’s Addiction’s original line-up have shared a new single entitled True Love.
With Jane’s Addiction going on hiatus and Crawlers’ support slot therefore no longer happening, the band have unfortunately also had to cancel their intimate headline dates, too.
Crawlers have announced that, due to Jane’s Addiction’s hiatus and tour cancellation, their own headline dates in North America are also scrapped.
The band had been supporting Jane’s and Love & Rockets since the end of August, and had also added in some of their own headline dates while out on the road. Unfortunately, though, they explain in a statement that it’s “sadly no longer viable for us to make these work without the support from the JA+LR tour”.
Read Crawlers’ full statement below:
“It comes with great sadness to alert you guys that the Jane’s Addiction + Love & Rockets North America tour has been cancelled.
“Because of this we have also had to cancel our intimate USA headlines as it’s sadly no longer viable for us to make these work without the support from the JA+LR tour.
“Our heart goes out to every single Creepy Crawly, despite this being completely out of our hands we are aware how many of our U.S. tour cancellations have [affected] our incredible North American fans, and it breaks our hearts that we won’t be seeing you guys for these upcoming shows.
“To our fans new and old who joined us on this run of shows – we love you so much, thank you for such an amazing ride, and bringing the noise for us every night, we will be back better than ever, we promise.
“Tickets will be available to be refunded at point of purchase.”
