Bring Me The Horizon appear to be teaming up with videogame Ghost Of Yōtei for a stunning new remix of Throne.
Bring Me The Horizon are teasing a truly epic, cinematic version of their 2015 That’s The Spirit banger Throne.
In a new 47-second teaser video posted to their socials, the band have seemingly revealed that they’ve been working on re-recording the track for Ghost Of Yōtei. In the clip, frontman Oli Sykes shares how he’s a massive fan of the action-adventure videogame and has himself played over 100 hours of it, and he says that his new vocals for Throne even sound “like it’s written for the game”.

Of course, this isn’t BMTH’s first experience in the videogame world. In 2019 they teamed up with the legendary Hideo Kojima to release Ludens for the Death Stranding soundtrack, with Oli explaining of how it all came to be: “We hit the ground running, and I’d been following the game closely because I’m a big fan of Kojima and his work. I went back and dug through all the trailers and fan theories, just trying to get my head around what the video game meant.
“I started looking at how I can use that theme and apply it to something a bit bigger than the game, and what was on my mind, too – and lyrically I had an obvious point of inspiration. We’ve never made a song for a game before, so it was a chance to do something that felt a bit more cinematic…”
