Album review: Body Count – Merciless
Ice-T’s crew Body Count return to reassert their radical rap-metal prowess.
Body Count have released a new single, F*ck What You Heard, in which frontman Ice-T presents his “balanced and unapologetic” political views.
Body Count have just dropped a banging new single and video.
Entitled Fuck What You Heard, the typically timely song from the band hears Ice-T singing about how, ‘The whole idea of a two-party system is bullshit / Ya know what I’m sayin', like, we all from the United States / Right, we all people, so why the fuck have they decided to split us up? / It’s the plan, it’s all bullshit.’
Speaking about the track, the frontman simply states: “I have friends across the aisle, but my views are balanced and unapologetic.”

Recently chatting to Kerrang! about what else is to come from Body Count this year, Ice teased: “I’d just stress that [2020 LP] Carnivore was so well received that I wouldn’t do this record unless I believed that it was gonna be better. But this record is way better. So brace for impact!”
